Puebla, situated in the Puebla Valley and encircled by volcanoes and snow-capped mountains, is the capital of the Puebla state and one of the oldest Spanish cities in Mexico, established in 1531. The people truly live up to its reputation. With 22 churches and countless colonial buildings, the city rightfully earns its title from UNESCO as a world heritage site.
